It has been a crazy two weeks since my last post about how amazefest Airbrush Makeup is and why you NEED it for your photos or event. Both my son and I had birthdays, my little guy is 3 already! Really?! But now I am going to be blogging all of the sessions that I have done since before I had my blog up and running. And this first post is about one of the most fun and beautiful couples I have met. Kecia hired me for her wedding makeup back in January of (2014.)
I met Kecia at her Mother’s beautiful Estate in Fallbrook, CA for her trial. She proceeded to tell me she wanted a romantic and soft look that was still very natural with a bold eye. Because she hardly ever wore makeup and wanted that extra oomph we ended up spending nearly 4 hours together on that first night, she became a fast friend and it was an absolutely fabulous evening! (We even ordered pizza!) Not your typical wedding trial, but there was nothing typical about this stunning wedding. After mastering her makeup look, and getting it all put to paper on her face chart I headed out ready to meet again in two weeks time for her big day.
The morning of Kecia’s wedding was absolutely beautiful! I made sure to grab everything I would need for the day and headed to the estate. Kecia and I spent the morning dolling her up for her Big Day with the love of her life Daniel. We started with a full coverage airbrush foundation from Temptu followed by a beautiful custom blend blush from Temptu. I used Urban Decay’s primer for her lids and their Naked3 palette along with Jane Iredale’s pressed single eye shadows to create a custom smokey eye. I also used a full set of Ardelle individual lash extensions to truly make her eyes pop and a custom mixed lip color to brighten her beautiful smile. Daniel received some male grooming including some primer, blotting, and powder to reduce shine in photos.
After both the Bride and Groom were ready we headed to the location of the wedding at the absolutely stunning Grand Tradition Estates in Fallbrook, California in north San Diego County. We (Ok, mostly I, the bride had an idea of what it was going to look like after all.) were so blown away by the beauty of the venue and everything coming together. Kecia had hired me to spend the full day all the way through to dinner and the beginning of the reception with her doing touchups as needed. So I got to spend her entire day primping and pampering her between photos and the ceremony.
After we arrived at the venue we did a quick lip touch up and then headed to do first look pictures. Daniel’s face said it all, they are a couple truly in love and his bride-to-be was absolutely glowing!
Following the first look and bridal portrait session there was another lip touch up (since we used airbrush there was really no need to touch anything else up, bonus!) and then we were whisking down to the ceremony! It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever gotten to witness. The officiant was a woman who spoke so eloquently it just took your breath away. After the ceremony I did one last touch up, and then packed up for the evening while the now Mr. And Mrs. enjoyed their reception with all of their friends and family. It was such a beautiful site to see a couple so in love as these too were! Many years of happiness to this beautiful couple!! Congratulations Kecia and Daniel!
